Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Zero Chance, operated from Lagos, Nigeria. By creating an account, scanning a QR code or starting a safety session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Zero Chance is

Zero Chance is a verification and personal-safety tool. We verify vehicles and drivers, issue QR codes you can scan before entering a vehicle, and let you share your live trip with people you choose. We are not a transport operator, taxi company, ride-hailing service or insurer. We do not employ drivers, own vehicles or operate trips.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zero Chance. Drivers must be at least 18, hold a valid Nigerian driver's licence, and own or lawfully operate the vehicle they register.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@zerochance.ng if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. No emergency service

Zero Chance is not a substitute for the police, ambulance or any emergency service. In an emergency call 112 or your local emergency number first. We provide situational awareness to people you choose; we do not dispatch responders.

8. Driver and vehicle data accuracy

Drivers warrant that documents and identity data they submit are accurate and current. Misrepresentation may result in deactivation, refusal of refund and referral to law enforcement.

9. Reports of unsafe vehicles

Passengers may submit reports about a vehicle. Reports are reviewed by our team. Knowingly filing false reports is prohibited and may carry legal consequences under Nigerian law.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Zero Chance and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the service, including any harm caused by a driver or vehicle, or any failure of an alert to be delivered. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Zero Chance against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your interaction with any driver, vehicle or contact you reach through the platform.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
